The world’s most popular and notable social network in the world, Facebook has rumored the future of the messaging services of some of the most popular apps in the world: WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced a vision of “a privacy-focused messaging and social networking platform” where people can communicate securely. With WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption, privacy and security, billions of people (who message via WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger) could now have a secure, interconnected platform to communicate on. The apps would still remain independent, only the messaging services would be interconnected.
The new platform would also be beneficial to contact businesses and people who use one app (e.g. WhatsApp) but not the other app (e.g. Instagram) which you use. Group chats, communities etc. would also potentially be able to reach billions of people around the globe with a few clicks.
We can’t wait! 🙂
